Ress White Rabbit Riesling 2024
Ress White Rabbit Riesling 2024
Balthasar Ress wanted to be a host - that's how it all began in 1870. A courageous and capable young man named Balthasar, a trained butcher, founded the Guesthouse Ress in Hattenheim, laying the foundation not only for a long gastronomic tradition and hospitality in the Rheingau, but also for today's VDP wine estate Balthasar Ress. Since that time, the Ress family has lived in the tradition of being good hosts and creating fine moments with fine wines.
White Rabbit Riesling is a pure and fruit-driven white wine from Germany's Rhein region. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, it offers a refreshing drinking flow with citrus and clove notes. Follow the white rabbit for a Riesling that's easy to drink. Apricot, peach, off-dry, pure fun and adventure! 3,333 cases produced.
TASTING NOTES
Fruit-driven nose with apricot, peach, ginger, and clove. Palate continues with stone fruit and citrus, offering a fresh and pure Rhein Riesling finished in a Kabinett style.
VINIFICATION
Fermentation takes place in temperature-regulated stainless steel tanks, preserving the varietal style and ensuring an easy drinking flow. Finished with around 40 grams of residual sugar, and low in alcohol, White Rabbit is a classic expression of German Riesling.

PAIRINGS
Is there a better match for Asian flavors than Riesling? White Rabbit's low-alcohol, off-dry taste pairs wonderfully with lemongrass chicken, or Vietnamese vermicelli noodles. Riesling's refreshing acidity fits well to traditional German cooking, and lighter modern fare.
