Paolo Scavino Barolo Carobric 2017

100% Nebbiolo from Three of Scavino’s best terroirs: mainly Rocche di Castiglione vineyard (in Castiglione Falletto) blended with smaller percentages of Cannubi (in Barolo) and the Fiasco vineyard (in Castiglione Falletto)

 The last year of production of Barolo Carobric will be 2018 as the 2018 was also the last harvest in the Cannubi vineyard. The Barolo Carobric since its first vintage, 1996, has been the same blend. Losing the rest of Cannubi vineyard, we decided to not replace it in the blend of the Barolo Carobric with another vineyard. Therefore, the decision to interrupt the production of Carobric to keep the identity of this wine, result of a specific blend.
