October Wine Class 2024 Slovenia

Join us Wednesday, October 9, at 6 pm for our next wine class, covering the topic of Slovenia.

Matic Rodica from Rodica Winery and Pikasi Winery will join us to taste some wine and tell about the wines of Slovenia. We will taste two wines from Rodica/Pikasi and two more from Slovenian producers from Vinum Imports

Slovenian wines are rich, historical, diverse and unique. The winemaking tradition was introduced in Slovenia during the days of the Celts and Illyrian tribes, much before winemaking techniques were introduced in big countries like France, Spain and Germany. Today, Slovenia has around 14 wine-growing districts and around 52 wine varieties, which speaks volumes of the country’s progress in this area

We will taste four wines from Slovenia;

Pikasi Barbera Rose

Pullus Savignon Blanc

Rodika Refosk Klasika

This class costs $30 and will be held from 6pm - 7:30 pm. Light snacks will be served. We suggest making reservations for before or after the class if you are interested. Wine will be available for purchase after the class. If there are any dietary restrictions let us know before the class and we will accommodate.
