Marino Abate Grillo 2023

100% Grillo, a wine native to Sicily that produces a fuller, funkier alternative to Pinot Grigio as it boasts the same crispness but with a heightened savoriness. Notes of citrus blossom and tropical fruit complimented by a touch of herbal notes in this full-bodied white.

Pair this wine with a fresh goat cheese or a lighter version of risotto.

Marino Abate is a certified organic winery in Marsala, Italy, just outside of Sicily. Wanting to reaffirm their connection with the area, they named the wine 'Ariddu', the Sicilian name for the Grillo grape, which also means “cricket” in Italian (note the label image).
