Dom. de Villaine "La Fortune" Chalonnaise Rouge 2020

100% Pinot Noir sourced from a single parcel. ⅔ stem inclusion at minimum. Fermentation in aged wood tanks for 10-12 days. After fermentation, must and juice are separated and occasionally reintegrated for balanced tannin. Bottle aging lasts from 10-12 months depending on vintage.

While this wine shares many similarities with the Domaine’s “La Digoine,” it sets itself apart by being slightly more approachable and tender. Its vines are about 20 years younger than its finessed counterpart.
