Castell d'age Garnaxa Blanca

Orange wine happens when white grapes are allowed to co-mingle with their skins and seeds during fermentation. Often times, these wines are fermented using no additional yeasts and are allowed to oxidize to varying degrees. The result are wines that are loaded with character (and color!).

Castell d’Age is the creation of three generations of women in the Junyent family, located in the Beguda Baixa, in the heart of the Alt Penedés region. The wine has a pale yellow hue with orange tones. The nose has aromas of orange peel and candied white fruit. It is broad and unctuous on the palette.
