Bucella 2018 Mixed Blacks

For some time now, Buccella has shared a love of Rhone Valley blends and their domestic counterparts. They wanted to experiment with some completely different varietals by putting a California twist on the beautiful interplay between the bright fruit and mineral characteristics of these blends while still maintaining the rich, fruit focused, layered lusciousness. They are fortunate to be working with fruit from the exceptional Shake Ridge Vineyard in Amador County. It is a fantastically well-managed site with a diverse soil composition, producing a wine with an incredible flavor profile and depth.

IN THE GLASS

The Buccella Mixed Blacks is a very complex wine and it is Buccella's most versatile pairing wine offered. Hints of blueberry, pomegranate, raspberry and white pepper mingle in the glass. It has a full-bodied flavor, which covers the palate with rustic mulberry, blackberry and Chinese Five Spice. Flavor characteristics and aromatics continue to change and impress the longer it sits in your glass.
