April Wine Class 2025 Banville Wine Merchants/Mountain Wines
April Wine Class 2025 Banville Wine Merchants/Mountain Wines
Join us Thursday, April 3 at 6 PM for our next wine class, Mountain Wines of Banville Wine Merchant.
Mountain wines are generally defined as wines that grow at altitudes above 500 meters, usually on steeply terraced vineyards. Altitude, mountainous soils, and wide diurnal shifts all contribute to a concentration of aromas and flavors. These often labor intensive wines are made by people who are dedicated to the craft of wine and produce stunning wines from hard environments.
Banville Wine Merchants is a family-owned National Importer, Wholesaler, and vine grower. As winery owners, their approach to the North American market was formed with a unique perspective; they have built a brand based on equity for their supplier partners. They connect producers and communities that align with their shared values of integrity, authenticity, and the essence of family. Values we share here at Le Bouillon and Howard Street Wine.
This class will be lead by Zach McKenna representing Banville Wine Merchant. We will taste four mountain wines and have small bite pairings.
RockWerk Niederösterreich Grüner Veltliner Qualitätswein
Cantina Terlano, Südtirol-Alto Adige Pinot Grigio
Pala Cannonau di Sardegna Centosere
El Hijo Prodigo, Malbec Selección Mendoza
This class costs $35 and will be held from 6pm - 7:30 pm. We suggest making reservations at Le Bouillon for before or after the class if you are interested. Wine will be available for purchase after the class. If there are any dietary restrictions let us know before the class and we will accommodate.
